I just built a 1957 312 for my 1955 Mercury that has a Mercomatic transmission with the original 3.15 ratio rear end.  I want to use a 4100 carburetor and need to know if the 1.12 verturi 600 cfm would be a good choice since the engine is bored .060 over and has a mild E 4 Isky cam or should I go with the 1.08 smaller cfm 4100?
