So a few years ago I got interested in up-dating my E-equiped 312.  I was tired of the leaks and the poor low end performance that I had had for the 30+ years I had been fooling with those Holley teapots.  So I decided to try to fuel inject it.  I originally dealt with a company customefis.com who ended up taking me for $2000 bucks.  I would advise anone heree to avoid them like the plague.  I made adapters to instal 2 GM Rochester TBI units, built some linkage. and then bought and ACCEL DFI unit which I modified to the twin throttle body set up.  With some help from my local speed shop and the folks at ACCEL I was able to get it running well now.  I am only controlling fues so far no timing.  The car has so much low end power now that it is a joy to drive inspite of the 2.73 rear.  It gets about 19 mpg in my driving which includes highway at 80mph and around town.  At cruise nights no one even knows it's modified.  Added a chromed alternator as a generator won't work with the computer or put out enough amperage to deal with the elctric fuel pump etc.  I am attempting to attach some pictures and hope you enjoy.  MIKE

Mike, still lovin his 57 t'bird after 53 years!
