After a lot of seesawing back and forth between yblocks, clevelands, fe, and mod motors, I have gotten my act together, and have bought a 312. I will be building it and putting it and a toploader 4 speed into my 57 Custom. In the interim, I will be picking up running 292 to put in for now, so that hopefully, by Columbus 2012, I can come play. That is the current plan. I'll be upgrading driveline pieces as I go, hopefully ending up with a high 12-low 13 sec car...we'll see. Thanks for providing a wealth of y information on this site...

I can't wait to see your Y-Block build.   Lots of help from this site around here.  With your performance experience  you oughtto make one really go.

My 57 sedan with the 352 stroker-Y and the VR57 Blower is way more fun to drive than my 460 t-bird or wifes cj mach1.  Of course I have 5 times the money and 10 times the time invested the Y.    But I really love how it runs.  It makes me smile everytime I drive it.
