Hi Harry,

It seems no one has come up with an aluminum timing cover yet, perhaps this new post will shake the trees a little.

Would it be legal for you to run a marine aluminum timing cover?  Tim McMaster runs one on the FED.  He fabed up an electric water pump on it and it works pretty good.  It usually requires a marine aluminum pan as well because the cover is much shallower that stock.  However, I believe a stock pan could be modified to work.  Perhaps Tim will chime in.
