I have a 4100 carburetor I'd like to sell. It's a 1.12 venturi, and is in good shape, but has been sitting around for a few years,so could use a kit.It was working good when I took it off my car. It's just a little too much carburetor for my stock 292.Anyone on here interested before I put it on ebay? $50.00 plus whatever the USPS charges for postage.

What are it's numbers Paul? If the tag is missing there should be some ID stamped on the front left foot.
Mike, located in the Siskiyou mountains, Southern, OR 292 powered 1946 Ford 1/2 ton, '62 Mercury Meteor, '55 Country Squire (parting out), '64 Falcon, '54 Ford 600 tractor.

Out of over 60 possibilities you have the exact carb I have been working on today . According to the Mustang Tek site, it is ID'd as for a 1965 Ford with 352, auto, just an FYI. The 4100 1.12 here has the same jetting as a 1.08 for SBF Mustang, thought that interesting. I'll send a PM or email. Mike

I got your PM,Mike.I replied to it,but as often happens the reply must not have gotten to you.I'll get it boxed up tomorrow and take it to the post office Monday. If you need it right away I'll send it priority mail, but if you're able to wait a few days it's usually cheaper to send it regular mail.Let me know the way you want it sent and after I get it mailed I'll let you know about the postage cost. Here's my address: Paul Humphrey 22480 Hwy 98 Boonville,MO 65233

PWH 42: Paul, I've been told that in good shape the Ford Autolite 1.08 version works very well on small displacement V-8s. If I recall right, in the multi carb tests done by our moderator Ted, some time back, one performed quite well. Those carbs seem to have run under the rader, they are seldom mentioned in carb discussions. The people at Pony Carburetors in N.Y. state, loved those carbs. I've got a 1.08 here, but haven't gotten to installing it yet on my 57 with Fordomatic. It likely needs cleaning & kit in any case...
