If it's still available, there might be more interest if the Head casting letters are posted, since the engine code could be for a 1957?

57country (3/18/2011) Actualy got block id...someones asked for it...block id is ecg...272? very sorry about saying it was a 312...never bothered to look for myself...so i have a 272 with a 4bbl....Verification from John Mummert's web site... ECG = 272 cu. in V8 from 1955 to 57 cars and trucks. Typically a Dearborn casting. taken from www.ford-y-block.comHope this helps. SALUTE for not just selling it for scrap!

not sure i'd have to see what it would cost to ship and what not. like the question mark implies not 100% on what cid it is and would pull the pan when motor is out. if you want it pm me and we can talk about shipping and whatever else you want to know

I would be interested in the crankshaft and rods (provided they are stamped ECZ) if you do plan to part it out... I cannot get up there to pick it up from you, but is there anyway you could ship the whole works on a pallet?

Glad you saw fit to advertize it, to often we find out about a part after some thoughtless person has decided without inquiring, that nobody will want it, & sends it for scrap. Hope someone takes you up on it. A note on a more exact location might help interest...
