I have a 37 chevy p/u that presently has a 235 six cylinder that has a couple issues and even with the drive line upgrades just is not going to do it for me so its time for a V8,I want to install a 59 Olds 371 like I had in a 53 88 since that motor made the 53 fly in stock form but that motor is on the wide side and might need some surgery to fit in the 37.  The days of finding one of those Olds motors in a junk car that still runs is over and I since I have two Y blocks I am thinking about installing the 272 in the 37,I will try to fix the issues the 235 has for now but I am wanting to put a 50s V8 in the 37 for a vintage look and I have the 272 so there is no sense in buying another motor.

Butchering up everything I can get my hands on in Dayton Ohio
