Thank you all for inquiring about Lynne & I . We are safe & sound (and dry ) .Queensland has just had the worst flood in about 50 years.Right now the whole East coast of Au is in flood . I don't think that has ever happened all at once before ?? Last week a wall of water from a massive storm cell, somewhere around 10-20 ft tall came over the side of the Toowoomba mountain range ( approx 2000ft ).Toowoomba is only 50 mile West of Brisbane .It totally wrecked two small towns ,Grantham & Murphys Creek .This ,combined with 3 weeks of heavy rain ( about 24 inches in 3 weeks ) ,swollen rivers ,king tides ,and all dams @ 100% capacity . It had to happen .20 dead ,and counting .Houses and cars can always be replaced .People can not be replaced . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuYkKir3LF4 Our thoughts and Prayers go out to all those who were affected . Lon & Lynne

From my visits to Lon's they are high and dry on a hill. Now Jason and Darryl's house may not be so lucky, I think it was low lying near a creek. I never made it to Brads place that I can remember. But I hope all are safe and Darryl's shop did not get Flooded. Speaking of Darryl, we need to keep him in our prayers for his cancer. Haven't heard any updates,"LON" God Bless all and hope all Y Blokes can swim.

My friends at Pomona area have their socks dry, but Brisbane is full of water. That's what they wrote to me last night. Australia will survive as usual .

They have covered it some here in the states. Last image I saw was a car bobbing in the water as it was being swept down the "road" by a wall of water. Warren, your description of your motorcycle trip is one of those things on my "bucket list". Hope everyone stays safe.
