Do any of you Y blockers have a set of Edelbrock valve covers lying around that you're interested in selling? They'd go to a good home.

I got mine off of ebay for $250 bucks on a buy it now. They were a little bit rough, but I have since polished them to perfection.
My name is Greg and I am addicted to Y's.

I know it'll be a little while. But you can't catch a fish if you don't have a line in the water. Just checking...

Bump to the top. Anyone know of any Edelbrock valve covers available? This pair was just listed on eGay, and I think that the price is going to get out of hand. Anyone have a set they would like to sell to a loving home?

They are not the most common item but you can get them cheaper than $360 and in a lot better condition.

We have all been fighting for years to get proper recognition of the Y-Blocks. Looks like its finally happening and we are going to suffer for it. Prices are going up almost daily and really rare parts are coming out of the woodwork for outrageous prices. Maybe we should have been a more humble and kept our passion cheap. Thats the double edged sword. Not enough aftermarket volume to bring prices down on production. Scrubs get cheaper and we get more expensive. Darn, if we only knew. Chuck in NH
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

It will spike and come back down to sane levels when the aftermarket starts to catch back up. Now people are saying, "oh wow, my old stuff is worth something" but when almost the same thing can be purchased new for less, the prices will fall. When that new Edelbrock intake finally becomes available, it will put a cap, so to speak, on the vintage manifolds. I don't think we'll ever be as cheap as a Chevy.
