Not a single Y block was at the track but otherwise excelent weekend! +31 deg celsius both days and I was recording my friends drive with his Futura at the track when we almost lost right front tyre ! Ok we lost the wheel and tyre! Weld Pro Stars are not made for circuit racing Ville is quite a person behind the steering wheel and every time he goes to the track it means flat out racing with his about 570hp Ford Fairmont Futura. Jeah, I will upload that incar video to youtube later for you all to enjoy .

Off topic from Y blocks, but this is a video about Burn Out Contest winner. Nice handling of the car at that slot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fG-BGdBt8cc

Dang! That looks like it could be dangerous. I think I'd find a new type of wheel.

Jep, the left front wheel was cracked also for about 15 centimeters. Heavy nose, lots of speed on corners and a couple of offs with driving on the sand and driving over curbs. That's it. But it sure was fun and dangerous . Ville has opted not to buy real racing seats and belts for his car as he drives it on the streets a lot too. Not to mention about adding a roll gage that I have suggested for him several times....

That video definitely shows the hard way (although looks to be a lot of fun) to dismount a tire from the rim. Thanks for sharing.

I think he needs better wheels. It doesn't seem like anything too devastating happened before it broke. Is the car naturally aspirated? It doesn't have the lope I'd expect for 570hp.
