OK...a couple more teasers... Here's why I don't care about the overspray on the valve covers:

You might find that those wing nuts are not compatible with the Edelbrock valve covers because they are not deep enough. Found that with the same setup.

Frank, I sent you a message Greg, the wing nuts are actually pretty tall. Taller than they look in the pictures. Long tapered 45º on the base...
