Tim,

Justin sent me a picture that he took of us parting the crowd "cutting" into the staging area...I should really look into a good horn for next timeTongue

Tim, a beautiful job! Been so busy I haven't kept up with your progress and it was quite a shock to see pictures of it on the track.

Start to finish in 6 months sounds like a speed record to me no matter how fast the car goes.

Good luck on your next trip to the track.

After getting a face full of oil on my last run at Eagle Field I have now installed oil restrictors to the rockershafts and replaced my Offy valve covers with some plane Moon covers (thanks to Mr. Burns for getting me one heck of a deal on the Valve covers) with two breathers apiece. (four total)  I have also added a little trim to the body work, all I need now is a "Y-Blocks Forever" sticker. Wink

Maybe Bob Martin has some of the big ones left. They would look great on there! If not I need to make some more of the small ones for this year anyway.

Elwood looks really great now! Do the burn marks on the headers mean the pipes need to be shortened? We used to do it that way. Smile Chuck in NH

Tim;your FED is awsome!!! If you are looking for a great race to run the dragster you need to head down to Famoso on June 19-20 for the ANRA race.Alot of great people and you could run Open Wheel,10.00 to ?,dial-in,or NE3 which has a 9.60 index.Their classes are All Run,three hits on Saturday, racing on Sunday.NHRA safety rules are used.If you are not licensed to run 9s yet, open wheel would be a great way to check out the dragster in 1/4 mile competition. ROY.

Tim, notice the shorter header length on the blown picture? This is what I meant by cutting the pipes shorter to where they turn blue. This hot point is where the revision takes place and is usually the sweet spot to tune header lengths. Chuck in NH
