OK I got the fenders painted today, a little better than the rest of the car, as I learned a little more about this paint. This is the first car that I have painted in over 35 years. Now for the fun part, I need a name for the car, I have a few names in mind, but interested in what you guys think. Keep in mind my southern roots and military background, let me know what your idea's are. Glen, i,ll step out on a limb and remember you asked! How about ! " Damn Yankee". Hope thats your side? yyy

That is a pretty good one Bill, but I don't know if all those "Yank"s" will let me into Ohio with a name like that. Here are the ones that I have come up with: Dixie Twister Dixie Stripper Rebel Rouser All have been used in the past, but what the heck, I like them.

" 'BAMA BOSSY" I wouldn't worry about the Yanks much. None of us are exactly normal. Watch the Aussies and the Canadians though!!

I like "Dixie Stripper" and you could paint some nose art on her like a WWII bomber, use your imagination.

I like that Gary and will most likely use it somewhere. I am leaning towards "Rebel Rouser", from the 60's instrumental by Dwayne Eddy or "Dixie Stripper". I have a old and dear friend that is the best sign painter I have ever met and I hope to have him letter the car. No stick on's for me! The car is basically finished except for the drive train, tires, and seat belts. I hope to be able to give Ted the go ahead on the engine shortly and I will start building up the C4 and rearend before the summers over. I am going to get back on the headers next week and hope to pass them off to Ted at Columbus so he can use them when he dyno's the engine. Thanks to everone on the site for your support, but I am ready to wrap this one up so I can get back on my 57 Custom.
