... anyway, I've no good local source for lengthening my drive shaft and changing the joint ends for the T-5 swap. Looking for any first hand recommendations for a 'mail order" shaft. Found a company online called Denny's Drive Shafts that has a pretty good Worksheet for specifying dimensions. Any recommended sources for a 'custom' driveshaft? thanks... brian

I used Denny's. They provide an excellent service. I like their twist or break it replacement policy. I haven't had to use it. The free lifetime labor is good, too. I did use this when I installed the T5. Even with the cost of shipping, modifications are cheaper than getting it done down the street.

Inland Empire Drivelines do pretty good.Guys that make driveshafts tend to be pretty grumpy, they seem to be polite.I usually just measure what I need and go to the junkyard.Ive had good luck with GOOD original driveshafts from FORD from the junkyard as long as they arent damaged.

Quarter master , as in clucthes , makes tons of driveshafts for nascar, also there was a guy on ebay, who had maybe 100 used nascar drive shafts, for around $75 each complete different sizes.

I went with Denny's Driveshafts and a good experience/value... thought to share a pic of the old shorter steel one and the new aluminum one from Denny's. Also in the pic is a 9" Trac Loc to replace the stock open differential. Cheers... Brian
