Nice, but it is amazing how much extraneous stuff can be stuck inside an engine bay.

Mike, located in the Siskiyou mountains, Southern, OR 292 powered 1946 Ford 1/2 ton, '62 Mercury Meteor, '55 Country Squire (parting out), '64 Falcon, '54 Ford 600 tractor.

Cool car.......But, you should put those plug wires where they belong!

FIGHT CONFORMITY! 

I have all the supports for the stock spark plug wires, but can't find decent ones. I wanted a quality set, specific for the Y, but here is almost impossible. This ones are very good stuff 7mm silicone wires, but they are too long, and, of course, not the best color. The spark plug boots are too long too, making impossible to use the stock location, the wires would touch the exhaust manifolds.

I can find really crap wires, not resistive, and very low on durability, made in China, and I really don't want to use this kind of stuff.

NGK of Brasil had top quality wires for the 272/292 Galaxies, but they stop producing them, and now they are near impossible to find.

The good stuff from FoMoCo is also impossible to find in Brasil. I'm thinking about some Ford Racing wires, but the sets for the 302 (easy to find here) are too short

Any ideas?

Do an online search for the wire retainers. Places like T-Bird products and Carpenters will have them. They also carry some plug wires.

I wonder if the accessory bracket from the Argentine Y-Blocks would work on ours? Chuck in NH

Might be expensive, but you can get a set of wires from the US which you can cut to the length you need. There are many high quality sets available this way.
