Has anyone else come across one of these? The aluminum casting below the bowl area is triangular in shape.

So are the internal parts, advance mechanisms, and such, of the service replacement interchangeable with the later, say '59 to '64, Y-block distributors?

I read somewhere that the rebuilders have ran out of the older housings are using a mustang housings with Y-block specs, hence the C5, C9 number. My rebuilt distributor has the same triangular base.
