I"m looking for a 1955 Mercury teapot carb. for a 292 cu. in engine. Does anybody know what number carb. I need? Does anybody know where I can find either re-buildable or re-build one! I have a auto tranny. I think the carb I need is either a B5A-9510-R or B5A-9510-N? I'm also looking for a oil pickup tube for a front sump oil pan. tube that runs from oil pan sump to oil pump.

Do everything you can to keep from using the teapot. Like find a 56 4bbl intake and a Carter WCFB, much better set up but only my 2 cents worth. If you are a purist and want to stay totally original teapot it is. As the man said in 56 they used Carters, there is a reason for it.
