I talked with Bob and he provided the following. The new chassis is a new front engine 180” wheel base dragster and he essentially started building it last November. The dragster was running in June but had some head problems of which he got a replacement pair from Michael Henaults, the California Y powered dirt racer. The bottomend is the same one that was in the roadster but does have a new and larger 6-71 blower on it. The backend has a 9” Ford rear with 3.89:1 gears. He did mention that he’s buzzing the engine pretty hard right now at 7800 rpms and would like to regear accordingly. Bob has raised the bar and is still in a position to lower the mark even more.
