Next time we see how Turbo-Y holds about 6200 rpm. Red line was now 5500 and it was way too low with that rear gear.

Today, after Jyrki came to our place, we had a tornado in my garage . 3 and a half hours later the dragster looked like a crap again. Now it's time to paint the frame and we took everything off the frame. Exept the engine, which I have to remove tomorrow. Something like gray it's going to be...

Cool! it's hard to take apart something that looks complete just to paint and re-assemble. Lots of work.

Jep, but now we know that it works and we have no need to add any brackets or else to it. Well, we will put a fiberclass radiator shell over the radiator to make it look more like a T-23

Hollow Head (7/14/2011) Jep, but now we know that it works and we have no need to add any brackets or else to it.Remember the bracket for computer... Actually, I have one old Palm handdevice what maybe can take some log. It's much smaller than laptop.

Seppo, sling shot (?) looks very good.. one comment about safety though is to consider SIDE protection for drivers head + neck Hans and other head/neck devices only protect frontal inpact yet alot of drag racing may involve side to side impact as well I know one of John Force's (sp?) drivers was lost from violent side to side motion enjoy your postings + giddy up , Carson

Damn, I forgot that data recording thing. Simo, what is the size of that palm device? And try to record something from your car so we know it works... Anyway, we have to add it under the apparatus (An integrated group of materials or devices used for a particular purpose) plate.

Carson, thanks for your comment and warning. At the moment we have neck collar to use and the head cage is wrapped with sfi spec paddings. HANS will be required here in Finland from start of 2012 in drag racing, so that will be on shopping list then. However, if the things go bad, it's not about the way how your head is protected from outside. Impacts inside of head are also violent if you experience lots of G forces when rolling down the track and in reality, you can't do much to that. Brains just are not for using as a boxing bag... And anyway, if life is meant to be spend sitting home alone, is it worh anything. I'd rather experience something wild and loud. BTW Carson, do you have any outings left for this year with '54?
