I am freashening the gaskets on my 301 in my red 63. Rope seal leaks, etc. I want to update the top end & am looking at two choices, but can't make up my mind.
1: build ECZ-G heads sitting on bench with Mummert 1.94 & 1.60 valves also sitting on bench. Guides, seats as needed, milling at least .020, & re using my current Isky springs at proper height. Put adj. Double roller on & dial in my E-4 cam around 4 degrees advanced. (104?)
OR
2: Supercharge it.
2a: valve job & new valve seals & re-use C1TE's. Buy pro charger, make brackets use holley blow through carb.
2b: Use my newly aquired 471 heads with My Mummert valves, re-use Isky springs, buy pro charger make brackets, use a blow through holley.
