Found a source of LINC-MERC front disc kits -
https://jamcosuspension.com/product-category/brakes/lincoln-brakes/front-disc-conversions-lincoln-brakes/
(Uses GM D-154 METRIC NON-DRAG SINGLE PISTON CALIPERS)
They must have the correct info on changing from TREADLE-VAC pedal linkage to a diaphragm booster.
EDIT
-
Here we go, the thread that started all of the wondering -
https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1954-lincoln-brake-swap-question.1271208/
Now there is a poster on 'THE OTHER FORUM' that says he connected the replacement kit diaphragm booster directly to his 58 EDSEL TREADLE-VAC pedal linkage, but as I read the thread, he kept 4-wheel drum.

I talked to Dave just a few months ago. He said that I shouldn't hesitate to call him if I need anything.

Then his health must have improved then.
Is he still operating the business or just doing piece work?

BTW -
1954-1956 FORD and MERC use the same spindle as does the 1955-1957 BIRD,
The LINC spindle is different.
