'57 F-100 272. Truck sat for 20+ years. Engine is free but wanted to make sure top end is oiling before firing up. Removed distributor and spun pump with a drill, 42-44 psi with test gauge. Passengers head gets oil, drivers does not.

Long drill bit down hole where rocker stand would be and no sludge in that so it could be in that sideways port or in block port.

Is there a chance the early manufactured engine has a drilled cam instead of a slotted journal and ports aren't quite lined up until engine is bumped a few degrees?

Possible clean passenger oil passage so oil is taking the easier route?

Penetrant seems to go somewhere when sprayed into drivers side oil port in head so I dont think its completely plugged or there is an issue with the head gasket.

Any good way to plug passenger side and force oil out drivers side or should I turn engine a few degrees and try until I get oil out of the drivers side.

Sorry for the long winded post. Any input would be appreciated.
