I've been trying to spin my oil pump from the shaft . The electric drill spins it but seems to be struggling. After I stopped spinning it, the drill was smoking a little bit. I'm getting a little oil up in the rockers arms, at the end of the pushrods. But not as much as I was expecting. I'm wondering if I'm holding the drill a little bit crooked causing friction at the socket on the shaft. I'm anxious to verify the oil pump is functioning correctly so I can finally get the engine in. I forgot to say, it's a 54 capri with 317 lyb
