Hey guys. Got a new clutch in for the 58 F600. Napa etc all show the same pn for a 12" clutch for this all the way down to the F100.
Multiple posts online of guys finding the same thing. The issue is the flywheel isn't drilled for this clutch pressure plate.
The bolt holes to fit it would be rather close to the edge.
From what I can find on Google, all y block flywheels are the same. The bigger trucks as far back as 57 had the 12" clutch behind the y block, later into the 60s it was available in the 600's as well.
Our '58 has a C1TE 62-64 292. So it should have had the 12" clutch.
Does the 12" clutch take some rare, unobtainable flywheel? Or is it the same as everything else, just redrilled?
