Vast improvement with no more wheel hop. A set of drag radials did the trick, after some massaging of the inner fender panels for fit. The Vicky is hooking hard and dropped the 60ft times to 2.1. Still working on launch and consistency. Best time was down from 14.85 to 14.26 at 97.8mph. Not sure why I slowed down and went quicker? Shifting at around 5000 I was hitting 5200 in 3rd gear just before the quarter. Next I'll move the rpm up to 5500. Lights were in the 0.18 range. That also needs worked one attempt to launch at more than 1200 rpm caused the front tires to push through the lights. Maybe a higher stall converter would help. I thought mine was a 2500 but that doesn't seem to be true. Anyway good news good racing and a great time had by all.
Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
