I know that my generator is fully charging as I tested the system with a voltmeter.  However, the red generator warning light on the dash does not light up when the ignition is turned to the "on" position even though the bulb is good and the wiring to the bulb looks intact.  This car had been previously converted to 12 volts with an alternator and the prior owner had cut a bunch of wires in the original harness to do the conversion.  I am going back to 6 volt with a generator.  Does anyone have a dash wiring diagram like the one which comes with the replacement dash harness so I can see how the generator warning light was originally wired and get it working again?    You can email me with the wiring diagram or advice at alanfreeman54@gmail.com.  Thanks
