A few replies: Thanks!
I still need the extended length OEM length spec's.  This affects ability to change tires/wheels when on car - without enough "drop" folks sometimes need to let air out of tires to get them off/on. I'm trying to avoid that situation - don't want to buy the "wrong" shocks.
Thaks again, JLB

I don't remember the specs but there are a set of front shocks for a Ford F150 that work. They operate in the same range but drop a couple inches further when jacked up. I bought a set years ago and they work pretty well. The numbers were posted in the Stuff that Fits area but I haven't found them again lately. Maybe Ted can chase them down.

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Thanks, again,
According to Gabriel, the G63398 shocks have been discontinued.
I also tried several sources on "The Web" which all said either unavailable or discontinued.
Anything else?

I had the same problem with Gabriels on the rear of my 55 wagon , I spoke to Gabriel about it and they recommended a AMC shock off of about 1973 hornet , done recall the number , It mounts the same but is 2 in longer extended .. I checked them out at rock auto and it seemed to be the correct extended length   hope this helps  Fred
