Charlie - we applaud your hard work and your efforts - keep that Y going strong! It is great to hear about the Y in any speed record. If more of us were able to do your kind of work and participate in those kinds of meets, the Y would hold more records... Dan

Just knowing that the Y-Block is capable of handling that kind of severe duty makes me breath easier knowing my "pampered princess" should last a good long time!!

So Charlie and his wife show up at Columbus. Talk about fitting right in with the gang. Nice folks. Also his high speed purpose built small cube Y-block with a SUPER heavy cage is running in the 15's. And thats with a 270 rear. He did take a shot at the sand pit in the runoff today but I'm sure Jim and Bob will have that story! Charlie said "I'm used to having a 2 mile shut off area"! Great time being had by all. Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Great job Charlie, I only wish I could be there! Nice to hear you made the 15s, I'm sure you would do a lot better if you were set up for that kind of racing. Tim
