55 used the bracket you have. In 56 they changed the design Florida_Phil (11/29/2020)

The coil is real close to the aluminum (Tbird) valve covers. You have to loosen up or unbolt the coil to get the cover off FORD DEARBORN (11/29/2020)
Looking at the pics I posted shows how close the coil is to the valve cover. No issue with this but it might present issues with aluminum valve covers? The link RanchersJim posted for a bracket offered by NPD may be better.
