B5S 17779-A is the complete PN for a 55/56 BIRD. It may help with the search. Good Luck with it!

P/N 17779 is the correct part im looking for. That p/n is in the NPD catalogue but they told me that if there is no price attached to the p/n, it is because they don't have it.....its just here for reference. P/N 17779 is what I need. Thanks. I called CASCO, they said they would get back to me but never did. Thanks

The part in question is 8310 (Deflector Assy - Radiator Air) shown on the ILL for a 55 BIRD, correct? Or could it be 17779 (Deflector - FRT BPR Stone)? 8156 is a finish molding.

Good luck. Seems to be hard to find some body parts. I can get some for my Fairlane but the most important parts I need I cant really locate so I am stuck trying to locate a 4dr parts car to chop the pieces out of.

Unless I am mistaken, 55charliebird is looking for the panel in front of that panel. If he is looking for that piece, there is a guy on the AACA site selling one. Florida_Phil (11/13/2020)
When I bought my TBird, a previous owner had smoked holes in my front panel with a torch. I guess they were trying to solve an overheating issue? These parts come up on EBay with some frequency. Many of them are rusty. Original panels go for around $250. I got lucky and bought one from a friend. Unless you have the body off the frame, that part is very difficult to replace. You must remove the bumper, all the grill and the front valance. You also will have to remove the driver's side air duct to get to the horn bolts. The bolts and nuts holding it the radiator support are difficult and almost always rusted too. Before you attempt this job, buy a new bolt kit from Casco. I took me quite some time to swap mine out.

8156 is a stainless/chrome molding per their catalog Genuinerod (11/13/2020)
Concours Parts has what you want for $90.00. Part number 8156 is shown for 55/56 T-Bird. No mention of material being metal or glass.
