My 1955 Ford Crown has a 5 stud wheel but what is the bolt pattern size for this car..John jdhenrhy833@aol.lcom

JDH: 1955 Ford car, I have switched from 6 volts to 12 volts. Every thing working on 12 volts except now I have no brake lights, no turn signals. I have 12 volts at the brake cylinder. Where have I gone wrong? Turn signals worked on right hand side of car for a short time but quit.

The lug pattern is 4 1/2 X 5 .  Ford has used this pattern for many years since 1949.  Early Merc's are different (5 X 5).  Pickup trucks used a 5 1/2 X 5 since before 1949, but later changed the pattern.  Not sure what they are now.

Did you change the flasher. Check the fuse feeding it. Good luck.
