manufacturers casting # for a Sunvisor Bracket. Ford used to issue catalogs which would show "Casting #' cross reference to actual Ford Part#. Then you could go to Parts Catalog and figure out that Part Application.

... can someone tell me what it is BAE-6404144CP

Is this number found on the part itself? It is a FORD ENGINEERING ID NO. BASIC PN 04144 is a VISOR BRACKET.

Most likely, to find the CORRECT SERVICE PN, you will need a period CROSS REFERENCE LIST.

BAE prefix is correct. The four character PN PREFIX did not come into use until all car cataloging began to use the new FORD P&A SYSTEM IN 1959

For illustration purposes only -

I hope this description was not too long ...

The last 2 digits on your # and what parts Catalog shows are the same-"CP".  I would tend to agree it fits your Application.

Yours is a 1955 64B, correct?

TRIM CODE 64B visor arm had been removed from service in the 49/59 MPC FINAL ISSUE. Below it still shows in the 1959 edition.
