I bought a '55 victoria with 216/60x15 tires on 7" rims in the front and 255x60x15 tires on 8" rims in the rear. They were fine going straight down the road, but the rears scrub on turning onto inclines. The fronts will scrub on turns. My car has 2" dropped spindles. I replaced the front rims with
5.5" rims and the scrubbing is much better, but not gone. The look is good for show, but not so good for daily driving. I'm going to replace the rear rims with 6" and 215 tires.
