Hello I helped a friend install a timing chain today, after installing there was about 1/2 inch of deflection on each side of the chain . I do not remember the maker of the part but it seemed a bit loose . The engine is stock with no modifications to the crank or cam. Other chains I have installed I seem to remember just a bit more snug. Thanks as always in advance .
