Factory weights can also be reduced quite some by switching to the following items.. they aren't free but can reduce overall weight quite some;  A Mummert or Blue Thunder 4 Bb'l intake, a Mummert Aluminum Timing cover; a Mummert  Aluminum Thermostat Housing, & Mummert Aluminum Heads.  Also, by removing the side of block road draft tube assembly, if so equiped & subing in a PCV setup. And there may also be a aluminum Mini Starter set up available, which is considerably lighter in weight..  Also, it's possible if desired, to remove some weight by grinding various casting edges & flaws from the block & heads..

Los pesos de fábrica también se pueden reducir bastante cambiando a los siguientes elementos ... no son gratuitos pero pueden reducir bastante el peso total; Una entrada Mummert o Blue Thunder 4 Bb'l, una cubierta de sincronización de aluminio Mummert; una carcasa de termostato de aluminio Mummert y cabezales de aluminio Mummert. Además, quitando el lado del conjunto del tubo de tiro de la carretera del bloque, si está equipado y sometido en una configuración de PCV. Y también puede haber una configuración Mini Starter de aluminio disponible, que es considerablemente más liviana. Además, es posible, si lo desea, eliminar algo de peso al moler varios bordes y defectos de fundición del bloque y las cabezas.

Gracias por el comentario, mi pregunta no es reducir el peso, es que quiero comprar un caballete para reparar el motor.
