like the title says, does anyone know the differences between original 55/56 Ford Thunderbird wheels and 55/56 Ford Sedan Wheels? I picked up two 15" Tbird wheels (was told anyway - there is a "FoMoCo" and a "KH" stamped on them). The bolt pattern check out for sure.

55 & 56 T Bird wheels are as you already know 15". They are 5" from inside bead to outside bead. They used rivets to secure the inner wheel to the outer wheel. They also have 4 slots that appear between the center rim and the outer rim.

Passenger car wheels and 6 passenger station wagon wheels are also 5" from bead to bead.
UNFORTUNATLY I dont know any other differences BUT can tell you that there are differences as the Bird wheels have a different part number than passenger car wheels.
Probably a differences in the wheel offset.
