I am running an in-line, see through glass fuel filter with threaded end caps and an Edlebrock high flow (FE) fuel pump. At idle I can see the fuel in the filter is surging,  is not steady and the filter does not stay full. Is this normal? Also, idle does not stay even but I'm not sure that this is fuel related.
