Supercharged Group: Forum Members Last Active: Last Year Posts: 70, Visits: 382	I have 55 Ford with a stock 272 V8. I've installed a Mallory Unilite distributor. I was wondering what the spark plug gap should be.

The purpose of a hotter IGN is a hotter spark obviously (if using hotter coil) and in order to take full advantage the plug gap is increased. It may also be possible to use a colder plug to take advantage of a quicker dist. curve. ____________________________
