No happy endings here.
Two worn out connecting rod bearings and no oil pressure in first pull.
8.269 s / 160 mph though.

Dam'n! Those bearing don't look good. Hope you can save the crank shaft. And with all that you're still going fast. Sort it out and see some 7's soon.

Any idea what happened with the oil pressure?

Have you tried ‘colder’ spark plugs?  Based on the porcelain length of the pictured plugs, those look plenty 'hot' for the amount of boost you are running.

The best quest now is that distributor gear pin snapped in burnout.
Because distributor itself dont distribute our sparks, engine doesnt shutdown and keeps running without oil pressure.

Ten penny part might do some serious damage!

It might be possible that some bearing metal runned trough oil pump and snapped the pin but that needs some autopsy.

We tried to change that bearing in last night but didnt help. There is something else wrong still.

Have check that spark plug thing but there was one lean spot in fuel map in 4000rpm/6psi what might be the reason.

I thought y'all had a crank trigger.  Is that on one of the other vehicles?

Crankshaft seems to be okay after polishing three of four bearing surfaces slightly with wet paper. All rod bearing changed and oil pump checked and seems to be ok too. There was some minor scratches so something small has gone through. Now biggest problem is to find new gear for distributor as old is cracked. Would something from SBF family work? We have no spares as we have had one similar issue while back ago. Or anywhere were we could find new for Y-block?http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/40f41671-c638-408c-abbc-1b73.jpg

Stickers say that we have done a lots of hard abusing for stock forged crank and we are still using the same one from the beginning. It has survived two rod twisting accidents etc. Well over 200 runs and counting... Next event 28Th of June to 1st of July, so we have to hurry with that distributor gear...

Empty distributor is only for rotating the oil pump.
