Can someone please post a pic of what they have done for throttle linkage with a mummert intake and a edelbrock carb. I got a stock 4v set up except it is for an automatic. Do I need one for a manual? Any help appreciated

Do you have an automatic or manual trans?  When I did the 312 with a 4BBl (Edelbrock)  and top loader 4 speed in my 54 Ford, the only thing I had to do  is make the flat rod off the linkage a little longer and then run a rod from that to the carb.  If you have an automatic (Fordo?) you have to use the regular linkage.  I assume the Mummert manifold had the correct mounting points for it.

As Paul mentions, the throttle linkage for a standard transmission equipped car is reasonably straight forward in that the firewall bellcrank can attach directly to the carburetor.  Here’s a picture of such a linkage setup on a ’56 Ford.
