Sure would like to see as many yblock powered cars at this since it's my neighborhood!
Ted Eaton has contacted me and is going to be there as well as The Church Brothers. Haven't heard from Pat Fleischman as yet, but have seen him there at past events as well as Jerry Christenson.
Let us know and maybe we can the yblock guys together. The track is really great.

I just made it to Tulsa in my black '57 sedan.   Krista and I just left Hot Rod's Power Tour to make the Tulsa meet.   I feel it is the best all Ford meet in the region.  Make it if you can!

HotRodMagazine.com/PowerTour  Has an interveiw of Krista and my sedan on the day three, Topeka, coverage. It in the "watcha drivin" section with Krista's photo.

Hot Rod snapped a bunch of shots of the car.    Flowmaster had it displayed in their booth on Wednesday in Ames, Iowa.  Lots of response from having a running Y Block.

My camera battery died right off the bat, but my buddy got this shot of me talking to Robin Church and here's the only one I got of a vintage S/S mustang with one of my favorite engines besides the Y!

Saw Pat's 57 in the parking lot. Churchs yellow 55 bird was there along with Ted Eatons roadster.

Hope more yblocks can make it next year. Ya missed a fun event.

Al.  Great seeing you both at home and at the Tulsa Raceway.  Also great seeing all those other friends I haven’t seen in awhile.  Sure miss the Birdapallooza event in that particular event brought together a bunch of us together every year and was loads of fun.  But had a great time at the Tulsa event and will put it on the calendar for 2009.

Great shot of Robin’s ’55.  Thanks for sharing.

Lorena, Texas (South of Waco)
