I am starting to look at which type of distributor I want to install in my 56 Ford Sunliner 292 engine.  I found a C0AF 12127 distributor for sale and have a question.  Which way is believed to be the better route;  take a C0AF and rebuild it with a Pertronix or get a re manufactured Cardone and work with it?

This is the first time to rebuild a 292 and want to do some of the recommended upgrades to help it perform better.

Thanks
Ron
