As a 74 year old car nut I can certainly identify with that.
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

It was a ball, how many 70-year-old guys can say they took a 1959 dragster down the track for the first time in almost 60 years . Vic, Royce, Jim, Tom and my daughter helped out a lot all weekend. We're doing some fine-tuning on it right now, leaning the main Jet, installing a high-speed lean out , fixing the steering and some other little tricks to make it go faster. Should be able to go low 12s High 11s next time out.

1. The run looked decent and straight 2. Its a long road trip back to the pits. 3. You need a horn for those pit monkeys that aren't paying any attention to the cars. 4. It looked like a complete ball. I'd love to make the meltdown someday.

HA HA , good going , I use to drive dragsters in the early 70's , direct drive with a slipper clutch . Here is a picture of my current ford 4 cyl. dragster , it uses a cobra jet head , I don't think anyone here mind.
