Since I didn't read this, if you and all think it's fuel draining and you are using an electric fuel pump; floor the throttle and keep it there as you start it. If it is truly full of fuel it needs air to clean it out. Good luck.

Just for your information, it's not likely your primary issue but, the Offenhauser tri carb intake was found to be a very poor design in back to back testing against 6 other makes of 3 carb intakes. Even though they are common in the used market, it's not a desirable intake..

My 55 292 is doing the same thing, fuel only has one squirt from accelerator pump after it sits overnight. I just rebuilt carb with a kit from Daytona Carburater, how do you figure out where it's leaking?

Well it looks like a Holley 94 2 barrel but says ford on the side & no numbers, has a power valve inside & on the rear of carb.

The valve on the outside is a "Spark Control" Valve used with the Loadomatic Distributer. There is an outlet for a vacuum Line associated with that Valve. There is a difference in the power Valves used on the newer Holley Carbs and the correct One for this Carb. even though it looks the same and will fit. The later style won't seal properly and may allow gas to drain. If there is no Gas in the Float Bowl the next Day its leaking somewhere.

Yep the kit from Daytona Carburater came with 2 new power valves- now if I have them in the right spot is a good question?? While it seems like a very good kit the instructions were vary vague & did not say anything about which one went where. So it could be leaking through a non seated power valve, metering check ball or needle & seat? this car has been a challenge to say the least.

If You google Holley 94 I found a good article on rebuilding these Carbs. Good Pictures.
