There's a guy on the Ford truck enthusiest 48-56 site that has a 239 car water pump. I left a message for him over there. Hopefully it works out.

Replacing the timing cover is the best decision in the long term.  You will also need to replace the fuel pump if you do that.

Thank you guys, but I realize that it becomes impossible to find a pump, so I see 2 solutions, either I re-roll if I find, or I change the timing chain cover so I can put a pump back more easily!!!!

Parts Geek shows 2 choices. The problem is your pump is a 1 year only part that went out of production 60 some years ago. Throw in part number consolidation and you may or may not get the correct pump. Your best bet may be to find a rebuilder in France and let them have a go at it.

I am looking for a water pump for my 239 ci, indeed on mine the wheel is small and on the new the wheel is bigger and the 4 screws fixings are totally offset, I bought 1 A Rockauto for nothing, it was nevertheless referenced for the 239 ci.
I am looking for either a water pump or a refection kit but I can not find my axis bearing made 0.63 ", the bearing is 1.18" wide, I can even pass or shorten the axis of the bearing with a turn! !
Thanks for your advices.
I passed the car in 12V with electronic ignition, super, the sun visor top..j ahead but without the pump I am completely blocked !!
Thank you
