Thanks Ted 2 great articles. A friend of mine bought a custom 56 Vic with a 351 and has bought a set of those adapters for it. The FE T-Birds looked great on the Windsor.
I don't mind keeping with the same brand and always liked the 56 Continental covers.

Seeing as how the aftermarket is making a surplus of Y covers, I’m more than happy to see them put to other uses.  I’ve seen 348/409 covers on a Ford Y so that valve cover swap or interchange works both ways.

In that vein of thought, I’m not aware of any company making the specific adapter you require but doing some searching on Google or the HAMB might give you some leads.  Here are a couple of links that will get you started in the right direction.

I think the posted Comments are quite Tame compared to what would be said if the situation were reversed and someone asked this Question on One of "their" Sites?
I think they would be unprintable!

I hate to point out the obvious but this is a site for y block engines not a cookie cutter small block scrubby. There are a million other places to look up info about them. I think the comments reflect that. If the guy wants to know how to put a real y block in his ride then we are happy to help.

It doesn't matter what he's trying to accomplish it's the knowledge we have all gained to help a fellow Hot Rodder  period!!! and point our fellow friend in the right direction with help not with negativity and bias opions. I can't believe some of the remarks that you guys say on here!!!!

I guess you could use a universal joint to angle the distributor.

You guys aren't very nice to this Man. He obviously really wants to be a Y-Block owner but just can't quite take that Step and join us.He wants to try it out first and see if it feels comfortable. One Day He will see the Light. In the meantime We should do our best to encourage Him.
