Of all the heads I have these have the largest valves but with the biggest combustion chambers,I looked them up and they are for a 55 272 2 bbl motor with 7.6 compression where the C1AEs I have are for around 8.8 compression which should work good for regular fuel but slightly smaller valves. I am wanting a motor I can run regular gas in and since I have them just install slightly larger intake valves in and hardened seats and be done,I am not wanting to build a race motor but one that will move my sunliner down the road.
