Unless your planning on a hard launch I would not worry too much. The old days of the hard tires and high gear only put on the best shows. The 56 Lincoln weighed close to #3500 and should handle it. The 49-56 Olds did OK and they were a lot different than 57 up.

Thanks, I'm just running VP 116 racing fuel. I need to get the Hilborn fine-tuned a little better.  Big Daddy Garlits is coming to Keystone Raceway later this year and we're trying to set up a chance to line up with him for some fun. Larry
