The bolt for fixing the damper to the crank and threads used for installing the damper is 9/16-18. The threads for removing the damper (the subject of this thread) and holding accessory pulleys are 3/8-16

I believe the bolt size for all Y-Blocks (272-312) is 9/16-18 x 1 3/4".

For pulling, 3/8" coarse thread. The threads often get filled with grime, which make it difficult to thread the bolt.

Hi All,
Can someone tell me the bolt and thread size on the harmonic balancer. Trying to remove one of a 272.
Both my pullers don't have the right sized bolt.
Any help appreciated.
