Hi All,

Can someone tell me the bolt and thread size on the harmonic balancer. Trying to remove one of a 272.
Both my pullers don't have the right sized bolt.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

For pulling, 3/8" coarse thread.  The threads often  get filled with grime, which make it difficult to thread the bolt.

I believe the bolt size for all Y-Blocks (272-312) is 9/16-18 x 1 3/4".

The bolt for fixing the damper to the crank and threads used for installing the damper is 9/16-18.

The threads for removing the damper (the subject of this thread) and holding accessory pulleys are 3/8-16
