If you google "peel and seal", it will come up at all the big box stores, and half a dozen or more car sites. I've got 2 cars with dynamat, and I've done 2 more with this kind of product. Pretty much the same, but way cheaper. Clean the floor good, and roll it down with a Formica roller, like a countertop. A search here or the Ford barn will also come up with it, and a lot of uses for various foil products. I like to use foam carpet mat in place of jute, it's not as messy. Doesn't seem to be a heat problem with the foam with the foil product down first.

I had a couple glued carpets that ripped the pile right thru them when glued, so I just use some double back tape only where I have to now.

You'll see a big difference in noise and heat.

Don't glue. As miker said, it will ruin the carpet if you will ever need to lift it again. Gravity holds mine in just fine.
